Hello everyone.

I would like to wish all the members of the club a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Also I would like to thank a few people:

Brenda for her work with local businesses in the Toukley area for sponsorships which enable us to produce extra income for the club.

Daniel for his work keeping the clubs finances on track.

Simon for his help on race days and also behind the scenes.

Warwick for just helping with anything that he can.

Gary for getting us some turn buoys and putting them out on race days.

Rhys for lending us his vocal chords as commentator.

Harry for his preparedness to help behind the scenes with advice, his help with documentation and his being on hand on race days to run race control. Gary and I promise that in future we will do as you tell us from race control Harry.

A big thank you to the Toukley Marine Rescue Group, without whom we wouldnt be able to operate at all. They provide us with an excellent facility from which to race. Thanks Graham. And for loaning us your cat as rescue boat as well.

To all of those people who have bought boats along to race, thank you, without you guys all of this would be in vain. We just hope that you guys enjoy yourselves as much as we do putting it on. We would be pleased to see you all come back in 2011.

The final thank you is to Shannon, who set up this website for us and administers it as well. Thanks Shannon.

I hope that I havn't forgotten anyone. My sincere apologies if I have.

For next year we need a couple of things:

A few more fire extinguishers, types suitable for putting out petrol/methanol fires.

A couple more hand held radio's.

Maybe even a clock for handicap racing

Merry Christmas
Bob Forbes
Secretary
